Claire van der Mee
Claire van der Mee (1992) graduated from the Rietveld Academy in 2016, receiving a bachelor in Fine Arts & Design.
Her interests lie in social questions, observing the norms of society and approaching them almost as an anthropologist would, but through art. Her work often finds common ground with contemporary feminist questions, leading to an active contribution to feminist art conferences and exhibitions.
Her interest in society is not only expressed visually, but also by organising/contributing (to) programs and events, by hosting discussions and/or giving lectures.
