Anna Bolten
Born in 1974, studied in The Hague at the KABK, finished this in 1999. Moved to Amsterdam soon after, and I have been working since then on subjects that interest me.
Think of films that I see on my computer, I take a picture of my computerscreen, take these pic’s to my studio and I start with drawing, and after this I start with painting. I paint with home-made paint; first a layer of egg-tempera, then oilpaint.
But also a combination of things I see around me can be the subject of my paintings.
