Simon Mulder (1986) lives in Amsterdam, studied comparative linguistics, philosophy and classics in Amsterdam and Leiden. He teaches Greek, Latin and classical culture in secundary education and does a PhD research in comparative linguistics. He writes formal poetry, using rhyme and metre, and is interested in classical elocution. In his poetry and his performance, he strives for unity of form and content. He also is the founder of Feest der Poëzie foundation, organising poetry and music events in exclusive locations, and edits Avantgaerde, an artisanal poetry periodical.
