Kalina Todorova
I am a freelance costume maker, based in Amsterdam, Nederland.I started my professional interest in fashion, tailoring and design in 1994 – 1999 at the Technical School in Clothing in Plovdiv, Bulgaria where I studied Technique and technology of clothing.
After I finished my professional education (and also attending College Diploma at University of National and World Economy) I started my first fashion position at Totally Erected Design Studio, known for its original and provocative urban style of clothes and accessories. My experience in the theater world started in 2010 at Satirical Theater Sofia, Bulgaria like a Pattern cutter and Costume maker. Specializing in construction, I have an enthusiasm for learning and experimenting, which has led to a varied portfolio and a range of skills; from historical costume, fashion and dance wear, embroidery design, through to wig, accessories making and large scale puppetry.
