Palestinian born ud master Nizar Rohana fuses virtuosity with fresh contemporary compositions, while maintaining the ud’s authentic language. With Hungarian double bass player Matyas Szandai and French-Lebanese percussion virtuoso Wassim Halal he formed his own trio. Their debut album Furat reflects the highest quality of floe, captured through the image of the Euphrates River.
