Doka Studio Sit Down Session #5 with Job Sifre

From June onwards sound bar Doka is allowed to open its doors again, in a very special way. We’ve decided to invite some of our favorite DJ’s to get down to our basement and play a boundless set in a very, very, very intimate setting. While nightlife is at least on hold until September, we want to provide you with an experience that will satisfy your appetite until then. So get a drink, sit down and enjoy a deep listening session on our hi-fi sound system. Of course, we’ve taken all the appropriate measures to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable listening experience.

Known for his enthusiastic, happy-go-lucky approach to DJing, Job Sifre has earned a reputation for making parties move to music that borders on the serious and challenging. He’s already built up a cult following worldwide thanks to hosting a fortnightly radio-not-radio-show titled Antikunst, offering a dystopian trawl through the worlds of skewed synth-pop, EBM, experimental electronica and woozy downtempo. For this sit down session Job will play a deep selection during both shifts. His approach to both shifts will be to start with Antikunst related songs. From there he will be working his way to a style you might recognize from his sets in clubs. Varying from wave and industrial, to electro and techno, from electronica to Madonna. The second shift will be a bit more clubby, but both shifts there will be plenty of room for seated dance moves.
